Copper Splash Cuff Bracelet
This bracelet features a piece of oxidized copper. This piece was made by pouring molten copper at 2200 degrees F onto a flat surface. When the shapes are cooled, a green or turquoise-colored chemical patina is applied, then highlights are buffed and polished to expose the copper underneath. These sculptures are sprayed to preserve the finish and to prevent the copper from tarnishing.
This copper piece measures 1” x 1 1/2”. It's set into a simple, prong setting in a sterling silver, cuff design. The cuff can be shaped to the wrist for a snug fit.
