History and Metaphysical Properties: Chrysanthemum stone, also referred to as the Flower Stone, is a unique specimen that is naturally formed by stone, not a fossil. The black part of the stone is a limestone matrix and the flower like patterns can be formed by crystals of celestite, calcite, feldspar, or andalusite. Each chrysanthemum specimen is different, making it a great collector piece!
