Couldn't load pickup availability
This necklace features a cluster of apophyllite crystals. The stone is suspended by sterling silver wire with a faceted texture. A nugget of blue zircon accents the top of this crystal cluster. The pendant measures 18mm x 20mm and 30mm in length, which includes the silver bail. It slides around double strands of sterling silver, diamond cut, cable chains with a length of 18” adjustable up to 20”. Blue apatite beads accent the ends of the chain near its clasp as well as the end of the extension chain.
Apophyllite: The name apophyllite refers to a specific group of phyllosilicates, a class of minerals that also includes the micas. These minerals are typically found as secondary minerals in holes in basalt or other igneous rocks. Apophyllites are popular as collector's minerals due to a combination of factors, including their abundance, color variety, and well-defined crystals. Naturally forming pyramidal structures, they refract light in obvious rainbows, and can form "natural pyramids" when subjected to rock tumbling.
