Dendritic Opal Oxidized Silver Necklace

This necklace features a unique opal stone, known as dendritic opal. This type of opal is a common opal with inclusions of metallic oxides like manganese and iron, which create plant like patterns within the base opal. Presented in this freeform cut, each stone is one of a kind and simply designed to highlight the opal. The stone measures 14mm x 22mm. It's suspended by an oxidized, sterling silver, satellite chain with a length of 17 1/2" adjustable up to 19 1/2". A hematite bead accents the end of the extension chain.
