Labradorite Flower Drop Earrings

These delightful earrings display gorgeous, flashy drops of polished labradorite in a marquis cut. The labradorite is wrapped in sterling silver and hang from sterling silver, ear wires adorned with a silver flower. The dimensions of the stones are 9mm in width and hang 43mm in length from the ear wires. The full length of the earrings is 58mm.

This form of feldspar was first discovered in Labrador, Canada, by Moravian missionaries in 1770. Today most labradorite is mined in Madagascar but a lower quality can also be found in the high peaks of the Adirondacks of New York.
