Marcasite Quartz Necklace

This necklace features a rectangular cut of the mineral marcasite. Marcasite is a mineral with a hardness of 6 to 6.5 and is chemically identical to pyrite, which is why it is sometimes referred to as “white iron pyrite”. This cut stone reveals abstract splashes of its metallic shine. It's wrapped with a gold filled, sparkle wire and accented with a double terminated, quartz crystal. The pendant measures 25mm in width and 35mm in length, which includes the gold bail. In this listing you may choose to purchase the pendant alone or add the chain shown in the pictures. This is a double chain of an oxidized, sterling silver, diamond cut, rope chain with a gold filled, rolo chain. The length of the necklace is 18" adjustable up to 20". A quartz bead accents the end of the extension chain.
