Hemimorphite Silver Necklace

This pendant features a rare specimen of hemimorphite that glistens with a druzy surface. Hemimorphite is a sorosilicate. The crystal structure produces a different termination at each end of the crystal. Only a few other minerals show a hemimorphic character such as tourmaline, but none show it as well as hemimorphite. This piece is set in a sterling silver prong setting and a piece of cubic zirconia hangs above it. The pendant measures 13mm x 23mm and hangs from an 18" sterling silver, diamond cut, satellite chain.
