Marcasite Quartz Necklace

This necklace features an oval cut cabochon of the mineral marcasite. Marcasite is a mineral with a hardness of 6 to 6.5 and is chemically identical to pyrite, which is why it is sometimes referred to as “white iron pyrite”. This cut stone reveals abstract splashes of its metallic shine. It sits in a sterling silver, prong setting. The pendant measures 22mm in width and 35mm in length, which includes the silver bail. This unique pendant hangs from a wired, link chain of oxidized, sterling silver and tiny quartz crystals.
The length of the necklace is 16" adjustable up to 18". Another quartz crystal accents the end of the extension chain.
