Dendritic Agate Silver Wrap Necklace

This necklace displays dendritic agate at its best. This high quality, cut stone is a variety of agate which is valued for its inclusions. Agate is host to maganese, which crystalizes inside the stone much like ice or frost does on a window. It creates branch, like patterns with gradients of color that are unique to each stone. This unique beauty is suspended by sterling silver wire which was then oxidized to bring out its rope like texture. The pendant measures 20mm in width and 30mm in length, which includes the silver bail. The pendant slides around an oxidized, sterling silver, wheat chain with a length of 18" adjustable up to 20".
