Ethiopian Opal Necklace with Green Tourmaline

This piece features a rough chunk of genuine, Ethiopian opal suspended by gold filled wire with a twisted texture. The top of the stone is accented with a couple of sticks of  green tourmaline. The pendant measures 10mm x 15mm and 30mm in length, which includes the gold bail. The pendant slides around a gold filled, rolo chain with a length of 17" adjustable up to 19". Another bead of tourmaline accents the end of the extension chain. 

Please note, extra care is required for this necklace due to the opals. You want to avoid getting the opals wet and putting into any liquid, chemical cleaner. Also, store it in a cool, dry place. Opals have a high water content. They can absorb impurities in the air that can affect their color.
