History and Metaphysical Properties:
This form of feldspar was first discovered in Labrador, Canada, by Moravian missionaries in 1770. Today most labradorite is mined in Madagascar but a lower quality can also be found in the high peaks of the Adirondacks of New York. Metaphysically, it provides understanding to the destiny one has chosen. It also helps enhance originality, precision, patience, and abilities of clairvoyance and telepathy
In the workplace it brings out the best in people and encourages courtesy and full attention to the customer. Labradorite tempers the negative side of our personality. It assists in reducing anti-social, reckless or impulsive behavior in children, teenagers and adults who are easily led into trouble by others, and may aid in detoxifying the effects of tobacco, alcohol, and to a lesser degree, hard drugs.
