Kyanite Amethyst Flower Necklace

This lovely necklace displays a gemmy, blue kyanite stone in a teardrop cut that hangs from an exquisite, cut gem of amethyst in a flower design. This pendant measures 10mm in width, 35mm in length and slides around a diamond cut, sterling silver, curb chain with a length of 16 3/4" adjustable up to 19". More kyanite beads accent the end of the chain near its clasp and an amethyst stone dangles from the end of the extension chain.

Kyanite:

Mostly mined in India, Kyanite can be the sparkle in a necklace or be part of a spark plug in an engine. This makes it an important mineral used in the glass industry and heat resistant ceramics. Its name comes from the Greek word kyanos, meaning “blue.” Kyanite is the stone of channeling, altered states, dream recall and visualizations. It also increases intuition and insight.
