Kunzite Confetti Necklace
This necklace features a high quality, round cabochon of kunzite. As one can see, it has a great saturation of pink color which is rare to come by for this stone. It sits in a sterling silver, prong setting. Clustered at the top of the pendant are gems of blue/green tourmaline, tanzanite, opal and a double terminated, quartz crystal. This pendant measures 20mm in width and 30mm in length. It slides around a sterling silver, foxtail chain with an adjustable length of 18"-20". Another bead of kunzite accents the end of the extension chain.
History and Metaphysical Properties:
Kunzite is a pink and purple variety of the mineral spodumene with a chemical composition of lithium aluminum silicate. This variety of spodumene was discovered in Pala, California, in 1902 and was later named for the American gemologist George F. Kunz. It gets its color from traces of manganese and the pinker the stone, the more valuable it is.
This crystal is known as the “Stone of Emotion,” opening and connecting the heart to the mind. It encourages one to be receptive to the experience of unconditional and abundant love, and also helps to heal heartache from previous loss. Kunzite’s soothing power helps to calm nervousness. It is particularly supportive for young mothers as well.
