This necklace features a natural, pebble of watermelon tourmaline that sits in a sterling silver, prong setting. This piece has a lovely shimmer through its shades of pink color with a touch of green at the bottom of the stone. The pendant measures 16mm in width and 23mm in length. It slides around a sterling silver, rope chain with a length of 18" adjustable up to 20". A bead of rhodochrosite accents the end of the extension chain.
Watermelon Tourmaline is a very rare and valuable mineral, with a hardness of 7.5. It is a beryllium aluminum silicate mineral that is mainly found in Brazil, Africa, and the USA. This stone is often used to help soothe one’s emotions, and combat anxiety and depression. It is thought to help attract love to those who let it, encourages one to find joy in the little things, and to not be overwhelmed by challenges.
