Chrome Diopside Herkimer Necklace

This necklace features an oval cut cabochon of chrome diopside. It has a rich, forest green color with a chatoyant shimmer. The stone sits in a sterling silver, prong setting and is accented with a Herkimer diamond crystal. The pendant measures 21mm x 25mm and slides around a black, rhodium plated, sterling silver, wheat chain that has a diamond cut. The length of the chain is 18". A bead of seraphanite accents the end of the chain. 

History and Metaphysical Properties:

Chrome Diospide is a bright green variation of Diopside. This gem gets its vivid color from chromium, the same element that emerald gets its green color from. Chrome Diopside is known as Russian Emerald since it can only be mined in Russia.

Chrome Diopside is believed to align all of one’s chakras. It’s an energy activator and thought to have a “green ray” of healing. It is a highly supportive stone, especially through depressive episodes. Chrome Diopside is used to reignite one’s curiosity, desire to learn, and improve mental clarity. Though it is used to unblock / align all of the 7 chakras, it is particularly a strong heart chakra activator.
