Rhodochrosite Delica Glass Bead Multi Strand Necklace

This necklace features an emerald cut of rhodochrosite. It sits in a gold vermeil setting. The pendant measures 14mm in width and 25mm in length, which includes the gold bail. It slides around a beaded chain of Miyuki, Japenese Delica, glass beads with gold filled  accents. An additional, gold filled, rope chain completes this multi strand look. Another bead of rhodochrostie accents the end of the extension chain. 

History and Metaphysical Properties:

Also referred to as the "Stone of Love and Balance". Rhodochrosite's color is caused by the presence of of manganese. It commonly grows in stalagmites in Argentina. It became a very popular stone during the 1930s. It encourages comfort, friendship, and kindness. Its healing properties are good for stomach and eye problems and works well with the liver and against cancer.
