Couldn't load pickup availability
This piece features an oval cabochon of genuine, Ethiopian opal, complimented by another rough piece of opal. Set in sterling silver, this pendant measures 1/2" in width and 3/4" in length. It slides around a necklace of 2mm, chrysoprase beads. The length of the necklace is 17 1/4" adjustable up to 19 1/2". Another bead of chrysoprase accents the end of the extension chain.
Please note, extra care is required for this necklace due to the opals. You want to avoid getting the opals wet and putting into any liquid, chemical cleaner. Also, store it in a cool, dry place. Opals have a high water content. They can absorb impurities in the air that can affect their color.
History and Metaphysical Properties:
Ethiopian Opal is a form of white precious opal, a hydrated silica mineral whose formations diffract light to produce rainbow colors within the base. It is known as the “Crystal of Joy,” allowing for the amplification of emotional energy. It will help shield against negativity and facilitate emotional balance. This crystal will help you to hone your communication skills and strengthen bonds within relationships.
Chrysoprase is the most valuable stone in the chalcedony group. Calms anger, soothes one’s fear and mends a broken heart. Instills a state of grace and a non-judgmental attitude. Helps one achieve greater personal insight, become less egotistical, and more open to new surroundings and situations. It draws out unknown talents. Useful in treating disorders of the heart, in increasing ones dexterity and for treating the reproductive organs.
