Seraphinite Herkimer Necklace

This necklace features a cabochon of seraphanite. It has a rich, forest green color with white streaks that carry a chatoyant, pearlescent shimmer. The stone is wrapped with a sterling silver wire with a faceted texture. It's accented with a Herkimer diamond crystal. The pendant measures 30mm x 25mm and slides around a double chain made up of a dark green, Czech glass beads with a sterling silver, diamond cut, curb chain. The length of the necklace is 16" adjustable up to 18". A bead of seraphanite accents the end of the chain. 

History and Metaphysical Properties:

A mineral of the chlorite group, Seraphanite originates from the Lake Baykal region of Siberia. These rare gemstones are primarily a deep green color, with feathery inclusions of silver colored iridescent formations, often resembling angels wings. Metaphysically, these stones are thought to be among the most important. It purifies the body and connects us with higher energies.
